SOUND DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Led by owner Lou Mannarino, L&M Sound & Light has created audio designs for the most prestigious musical Artists, concert halls, theaters, museums and event spaces. Our staff of engineers and technicians, supported with years of experience and a large and up to date inventory, result in an highly creative and quality experience for our clients and their special events.

LIGHTING DESIGN

L&M Sound & Light's philosophy is that every event - regardless of size or scope - is designed as a visually cohesive and thoroughly considered piece of creative work.  Under the guidance of L&M lighting director Richard Tatum,  L&M's designs are thoughtfully and imaginatively created with priority given to the client's unique desires for the visual environment of their special occasion.  Our work is supported by decades long experience in the fields of theatrical and special event lighting design and production.

EQUIPMENT & PRODUCTION SERVICES

L&M Sound & Light owns and maintains an inventory of audio, lighting and video equipment especially suited for the unique requirements of special event production and is constantly researching, obtaining, and incorporating new technologies into our body of work. In addition we are an authorized reseller for over 30 manufacturers including 1 SOUND, K-array, L-Acoustics, High End, Clay-Paky, Digico, Avid and Barco. Our spacious warehouse facility allows for thorough pre-event preparation of equipment as well as the creation and testing of unique event ideas and design concepts.  Our dedication to a creative and imaginative, professional and courteous experience from the first phone call or email and then on site until the completion of the event assures the realization of numerous highly successful events throughout the year.

VENUES

L&M Sound & Light designs and executes events throughout New York City at numerous prestigious venues along with countless intimate and non-traditional event spaces . Venues in which we are an established presence include The Metropolitan Museum of Art (www.metmuseum.org), The Caldwell Factory (www.thecaldwellfactory.com), and the New-York Historical Society (www.nyhistory.org). Additionally, we are recommended at numerous illustrious NYC cultural institutions including The New York Philharmonic and David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center (where our audio engineering presence particularly enjoys a many years relationship), The Shed, The New York Public Library, American Museum of Natural History, The Frick Collection, and The High Line amongst many others. We frequently travel throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and New England to private estates and properties designing and producing audio, lighting, and video for private social events together with our valued event design and event planner clients and colleagues.
